What is Amplemarket?
Amplemarket is an AI sales platform for B2B outbound. It bundles four things that sales teams usually buy separately: a contact and company database, buying-intent signals, multichannel outreach sequences (email, phone and LinkedIn), and email deliverability tools. On top of that sits Duo, an AI copilot that watches for signals, picks leads worth contacting and drafts the outreach.
The pitch is consolidation. A typical outbound stack is a data provider, a sequencing tool, a dialer, a deliverability service and some intent data. Amplemarket replaces them with one login and one contract. Whether that is good value depends on how many of those tools you were going to buy anyway.
The company runs on Google Cloud, states SOC 2 Type II compliance on its security page, and hosts customer data in US-based data centres according to its GDPR page. It sells mainly to funded B2B companies with dedicated sales development reps (SDRs) and account executives.
Who it is for
- B2B SDR and outbound teams that send sequences every day and need fresh contact data to feed them.
- Sales leaders consolidating tools. If you currently pay for a data provider, a sequencer and a dialer, Amplemarket can replace all three.
- Teams that sell on the phone. The Outbound Dialer is included on every plan and a Parallel Dialer is available as an add-on.
- Account-based sales teams who want to track job changes, intent signals and competitor engagement on a defined list of target accounts.
- RevOps teams on Salesforce or HubSpot who want outreach activity logged back to the CRM without manual work.
It is not a good fit for solo founders, freelancers or very small teams sending a few hundred emails a month. The cheapest plan costs $7,200 a year on an annual commitment, which is more than many small teams spend on their entire sales stack. It is also not a CRM: you still need Salesforce, HubSpot or similar to manage the pipeline. If you want a CRM with calling built in, look at Close instead.
Key features
- Searcher. The prospecting search. You stack person, company and signal filters to build lead lists, include or exclude accounts from CRM reports, or search by a list of company domains for account-based campaigns. Saved Searches refresh as new leads match, can be shared with teammates, and feed directly into sequences.
- Duo Copilot and Duo Signals. Duo scans the web on a 24-hour cycle for buying signals and turns them into a prioritised daily list of leads. You define Duo Personas (preset filters for your ideal customer) and Messaging settings that control the tone and positioning of drafted emails. Signals can also come from your CRM (custom CRM Signals), your own systems (custom API Signals) or Slack.
- Duo Copywriter, Duo Voice and Duo Inbox. Copywriter drafts personalised emails. Duo Voice produces AI voice notes and is included on Growth and Elite. Duo Inbox handles replies automatically and is included on Elite or available as an add-on.
- Multichannel Sequences. Sequences combine email, phone call and LinkedIn steps: connection requests, messages, profile visits, follows, likes, and voice or video messages. Dynamic fields such as first name, company and title are filled in per lead.
- Dialers. The Outbound Dialer is on every plan. The Parallel Dialer, which calls several numbers at once and connects the rep to whoever answers, is a per-seat add-on with no per-minute charge.
- Deliverability tools. Domain Health Center, Deliverability Booster, Mailbox Recommendation and an Email Spam Checker help keep your domains out of spam folders, which matters more the more mailboxes you run.
- Duo Accounts. A newer account research agent that combines your first-party data with the public web, lists source-backed reasons to engage an account with a relevancy level, and refreshes on a schedule. Its Plan outreach action hands the account context to a connected assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, whose recommendations are then carried out in Amplemarket via MCP. The pricing page does not yet say which plans include it.
- Job Change Alerts and Competitive Intelligence. Alerts when tracked contacts change jobs (a classic warm-outbound trigger), and Duo Competitive Intelligence flags prospects engaging with competitors on G2 and LinkedIn.
- CRM sync, Workflows and MCP. Contact edits, one-off emails and replies sync to Salesforce and HubSpot as activities, and Unibox handles replies in one place. Workflows automate follow-up and can now trigger on a Salesforce opportunity or HubSpot deal being created or updated, filtered by stage, pipeline, amount, close date or owner, then act on the primary contact, all contacts or specific roles. The MCP server lets AI assistants build and run sequences (see below).
Amplemarket’s blog claims a database of more than 200 million contacts across 20 million companies with under 3% average bounce rate. Those are vendor figures; we have not tested them, so check data quality in your own market during the trial.

A few things to understand before you sign:
- Credits are annual. They renew on your contract date, not monthly. Amplemarket’s pricing article says revealing an email uses 1 credit, validating an email or enriching a contact uses 0.5, and revealing a phone number uses 1 phone credit. Email credits can be converted to phone credits, and extra phone credits cost $0.50 each according to the same article.
- Phone credits are tight on Startup. 600 phone numbers per user per year is about 50 a month. If your reps call a lot, price Growth.
- Some costs are unpublished. Extra users, the Parallel Dialer and Duo Inbox below Elite are sold at prices you only learn from sales.
- Free trial. The pricing page says all plans include a free trial; Amplemarket’s pricing article describes it as 14 days. There is no free plan.
How to use Amplemarket: step-by-step
Amplemarket’s public help centre (knowledge.amplemarket.com) is thinner than some competitors’, so the steps below stay at the level the vendor documents. Your onboarding (community or with a CSM, depending on plan) fills in the rest.
- Start a trial. Request the free trial from amplemarket.com. Paid plans are annual contracts, so use the trial to test data quality and deliverability on a real campaign.
- Connect your CRM. Link Salesforce or HubSpot first so contact edits, emails and replies sync as activities and so you can use CRM reports as include or exclude lists in Searcher.
- Connect mailboxes and set sending limits (see below).
- Define who you sell to. Create a Duo Persona with your ideal customer filters and set Messaging settings for tone and positioning.
- Build a list in Searcher and save it.
- Create a sequence, enroll leads, review and launch.
- Work Duo’s daily list and handle replies in Unibox.
Connect a mailbox safely
For Microsoft 365 or Outlook, go to Mailbox Settings, click +Add Mailbox and choose Microsoft Account, then sign in through Microsoft’s own login; Amplemarket does not store your password. If your company requires admin approval for third-party apps, a Microsoft 365 admin has to grant consent first. Gmail and Google Workspace mailboxes are also supported (the integration page lists built-in warm-up and domain management), and custom SMTP (for example SendGrid) takes a host, port, username and password.
Once connected, set the signature, daily sending limit, warm-up preferences and domain settings for each mailbox. Do not send campaigns from your main company domain: use secondary domains, warm them up, and spread volume across mailboxes. Amplemarket’s own integration page notes that Microsoft tends to enforce stricter sending limits than Gmail, so be more conservative with Outlook mailboxes. Check the Domain Health Center before your first launch.
Build a lead list in Searcher
Open Searcher and stack person, company and signal filters until the list matches your ideal customer profile. For account-based campaigns, upload or paste a list of target company domains, or pull a CRM report to include target accounts and exclude current customers and open opportunities.
Save the search. Saved Searches refresh as new leads match, so a well-built search becomes a steady source of fresh prospects rather than a one-off export. Reveal emails and phone numbers only for leads you will actually contact, because each reveal spends credits from your annual pool.
Create and launch a sequence
Create a new sequence from your saved search, assign the mailboxes it should send from, and add steps. Each step has a type, a delay and content. A sensible first sequence for a cold audience is three or four emails over two to three weeks, with a LinkedIn profile visit and connection request in the middle and a call step for leads who open or click.
Write copy with dynamic fields such as {{first_name}}, {{company_name}} and {{title}}, or let Duo Copywriter draft a version per lead. Enroll the leads, then open the sequence and read the personalised copy for a sample of 10-20 leads before launching. AI personalisation that references the wrong company or a stale job title does more harm than a plain template.
If you work from an AI assistant, the Amplemarket MCP server can create a draft sequence, add steps, enroll leads and, since the October 2026 update, launch, pause, resume or archive it. Sequences built over MCP are linear, steps can only be added at the end of a draft, and deleting a step still needs the dashboard. Review the copy yourself before you ask the assistant to launch.
Tips to get better results
- Start with signals, not volume. Job changes, competitor engagement and intent signals produce warmer conversations than a large static list. Point Duo at those first.
- Keep Duo on review mode until you trust it. Duo autopilot mode schedules outreach without manual review. Leave it off until you have read a few weeks of its drafts.
- Protect your domains. Use separate sending domains, warm them up, and watch the Domain Health Center weekly. Deliverability problems are cheaper to prevent than to fix.
- Budget credits per rep. Email and phone credits are annual pools per user. Agree a monthly reveal budget per rep so nobody burns the year’s phone credits in the first quarter.
- Write the prompt like a brief. When you set Messaging settings, describe your offer, proof points and banned phrases specifically. Our guide on how to write better prompts covers the pattern.
- Exclude customers and open deals. Use CRM reports as exclusion lists so you never cold-email someone your colleague is already talking to.
- Measure replies and meetings, not opens. Open tracking is unreliable; judge sequences on positive replies and booked meetings.
Limitations and common problems
- Price and commitment. $7,200 a year is the minimum, paid on an annual term. Run a focused trial with real campaigns before you sign, and ask for the full quote including extra users and add-ons.
- Opaque pricing above Startup. Growth, Elite, extra seats, the Parallel Dialer and Duo Inbox (below Elite) are quote-only. Ask sales for every line item in writing.
- Data quality varies by market. Vendor accuracy figures are averages. Test reveals for your exact segment and geography during the trial, and validate emails before sending.
- AI copy needs review. Duo drafts are a starting point. Generic or wrongly personalised emails damage reply rates and your domain reputation.
- Limited public documentation. There is a public help centre and Amplemarket University, but much detailed how-to content comes through onboarding, so expect to rely on your CSM.
- New features land fast. Duo Accounts and the MCP sequence controls are weeks old, and Duo Accounts plan availability is unpublished. Confirm what your plan includes.
- Privacy and compliance. Amplemarket relies on legitimate interest for B2B prospecting and says it may be considered a data broker under CCPA. If you prospect into the EU, use its exclusion lists and EEA geo-fencing options and check your own legal basis.
Alternatives
- Apollo.io - large contact database with sequences and a free plan; the obvious cheaper alternative for smaller teams.
- Reply.io - mature multichannel sequencing with an AI SDR, priced per user and far cheaper to start.
- lemlist - cold email and LinkedIn sequences with strong personalisation and a built-in lead database. Our Reply.io vs lemlist comparison prices both out for real teams.
- Close - a CRM with built-in calling, SMS and email, for teams that want pipeline and outreach together.
- ZoomInfo - an enterprise data platform if contact data and intent at scale matter more than sequencing.

Verdict
Sign up for an Amplemarket trial if you run a B2B outbound team with several reps, you already pay (or were about to pay) for a data provider, a sequencer and a dialer, and you want signal-driven prospecting with AI drafting on top. In that situation the $7,200 Startup plan or a Growth quote can be cheaper than the tools it replaces, and having data, sequences and deliverability in one place removes a lot of glue work.
Skip it if you are a founder doing your own sales, a small team sending modest volume, or you need a CRM rather than an outbound engine. Apollo.io, Reply.io or lemlist will cover most of the same ground for a fraction of the price, and you can move up to Amplemarket later if outbound becomes your main growth channel.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Amplemarket cost?
At the time of writing the Startup plan costs $600 per month on an annual term, which is $7,200 a year, and includes 2 users. Growth (4 users) and Elite (10 users) are priced by quote. Extra users and some add-ons such as the Parallel Dialer are sold at prices Amplemarket does not publish.
Does Amplemarket have a free plan or free trial?
There is no free plan. The pricing page says all plans include a free trial, and Amplemarket's own pricing article describes it as 14 days.
How do Amplemarket credits work?
Each plan includes email address credits and phone number credits per user per year. According to Amplemarket's pricing article, revealing an email costs 1 credit, validating an email or enriching a contact costs 0.5, and revealing a phone number costs 1 phone credit. Credits renew on your contract date each year, not monthly.
Does Amplemarket integrate with Salesforce and HubSpot?
Yes. Amplemarket syncs contact edits, one-off emails and replies to Salesforce and HubSpot as activities, and Workflows can trigger when a Salesforce opportunity or HubSpot deal is created or updated. It also lists integrations with Gong, Attention and Fathom for meeting intelligence.
Is Amplemarket better than Apollo.io?
They overlap heavily. Apollo.io has a free plan and much cheaper entry pricing, so it suits smaller teams. Amplemarket leans harder on AI signals, its Duo copilot, deliverability tooling and dialing, and is priced for teams with a real outbound budget.
Can I use Amplemarket from an AI assistant?
Yes. Amplemarket offers an MCP server that works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other remote MCP clients. An assistant can create draft sequences, add steps, enroll leads and, since the October 2026 update, launch, pause, resume and archive sequences, pull call transcripts and summaries, and list competitor battlecards.
