What is Teikametrics?
Teikametrics is an AI platform for brands and sellers on Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop. It automates sponsored-ads bidding and campaign building, helps you create and improve product listings, and forecasts inventory, all from one dashboard. The company brands this platform ARI, short for “Artificial Retail Intelligence”, and splits it into four parts: ARI Ads, ARI Catalog, ARI Inventory and ARI Insights.
It is made by Teikametrics, Inc. You may still see the older product name “Flywheel” in some trial links. The company sells it two ways: as self-serve software on the Essentials plan, and, for larger accounts, with Managed Services, where Teikametrics strategists run the ads for you alongside the software.
The problem it solves is the grind of marketplace advertising. Managing bids across hundreds of keywords and products by hand takes hours a week, and most sellers either overspend on poor keywords or under-bid on good ones. Teikametrics sets bids automatically towards a goal and cost limit you choose, builds campaigns from your catalog, and recommends keywords to add or cut.
Who it is for
- Amazon and Walmart sellers spending up to about $10,000 a month on ads who want automated bidding for a flat fee. This is the Essentials plan’s sweet spot.
- Brands expanding to a new marketplace, for example from Amazon to Walmart, who want Listing Creator to copy and adapt listings rather than rebuild them by hand.
- TikTok Shop sellers who also sell on Amazon or Walmart and want one place to run ads across channels.
- Larger brands and retail teams spending over $10,000 a month who need Amazon DSP, Walmart Onsite Display, Amazon Marketing Cloud insights or a managed service.
It is not a good fit if you sell only through your own website (Teikametrics focuses on marketplaces), if you spend very little on ads (the fee may outweigh the savings), or if you want full manual control of every bid. It is also the wrong tool for social, search or email marketing outside these marketplaces; see our marketing tools directory for those.
Key features
- Teikametrics Bidder (goal-based AI bidding). You give a campaign or ad group a goal and an ACOS Limit, and the bidder adjusts bids automatically. You can set minimum and maximum bids as guardrails; the trial guide says the default maximum bid ceiling is $5, which you can raise.
- AI Smart Campaigns and Campaign Creator. Pick products and a goal (Grow, Protect or Launch), and Campaign Creator generates campaigns, ad groups and keyword targets for you to review before launch.
- Keyword recommendations. Suggested keywords appear for you to Accept, edit (match type or destination ad group) or Dismiss. Dismissed keywords are not suggested again.
- Dayparting Bid Scheduler. Changes bids by time of day so you spend more in hours that convert and less in hours that do not.
- ARI Catalog with Smart Pages and Listing Creator. Shows a product-level profit and loss view across channels and uses generative AI to suggest listing improvements. Listing Creator takes active Amazon products that are not yet on Walmart, maps them to a Walmart Product Type and rewrites the title, key features and description for Walmart.
- ARI Inventory. Inventory alerts and AI demand forecasting. Teikametrics’ help centre says Inventory Optimization is included in the platform price.
- ARI Assistant Chat. Ask questions about your Sponsored Ads, Amazon DSP, Walmart DSP and catalog data in plain English. Teikametrics says answers typically take 40 to 50 seconds and are more accurate when you include dates, metrics and filters.
- Refunds Recovery. Finds money Amazon owes you for lost or damaged inventory. It is provided by Seller Investigators (Carbon6) and charges 25% of what is recovered, only after Amazon pays out.
Pricing
Teikametrics prices by monthly ad spend. Figures below are from the vendor’s pricing page at the time of writing, in US dollars.
| Plan | Who it is for | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | Up to $10K/month ad spend | $149/month billed annually, or $179/month billed monthly | ARI Ads, Catalog, Inventory and Insights; Refunds Recovery; 30-day risk-free trial |
| Advanced | Over $10K/month ad spend | Custom pricing + 3% of ad spend over $10K | Everything in Essentials plus Amazon DSP, Walmart Onsite Display, Amazon Marketing Cloud, dedicated onboarding, profitability and search dashboards; Managed Services as an add-on |
| Enterprise | Over $100K/month ad spend | Custom pricing + 3% of ad spend over $10K | Everything in Advanced plus customizable dashboards and reporting, and Teikametrics Managed Services |
A few things to note:
- Annual billing on Essentials saves $360 a year compared with paying monthly.
- The 3% fee applies to ad spend above $10,000 a month on Advanced and Enterprise. At $50,000 a month in ad spend, that is $1,200 a month on top of the custom base fee.
- If you cancel Essentials, the account moves to a free Basic plan with the Predictive AI turned off. Basic is not listed on the pricing page, so check what it includes before relying on it.
- Refunds Recovery’s 25% commission is separate from your plan price.
How to use Teikametrics: step-by-step
These steps follow Teikametrics’ onboarding and trial guides for Amazon. Walmart and TikTok Shop connect in a similar way through their own help articles.
- Sign up. Start the free trial from the Teikametrics website. In Account Setup, enter your company name and choose the marketplaces you sell on. If you signed up with an email and password, verify your email before going further.
- Connect Amazon Ads. Click Connect next to Amazon Ads, then Authorize in Amazon Seller Central, sign in to your advertising account and click Allow. Select your merchants and click Connect Merchants.
- Connect product data. Authorize the Product Catalog connection (Amazon’s Selling Partner API). This connects one region at a time, so one authorization covers, for example, the US, Canada and Mexico. Teikametrics asks you to set your Seller Central feed processing report language to English.
- Choose a plan and add a card. Once ads and product data are connected for at least one marketplace, enter a credit card and select a plan to start the trial.
- Wait for the sync. Your ads and catalog data import automatically, and you get an email when syncing is finished.
Workflow 1: launch AI Smart Campaigns
- Open Campaign Creator and select your merchant.
- Set start and end dates and choose Keyword or Product targeting, then a strategy. The help article lists Basic, Auto, Manual and Custom; Basic needs the least setup.
- Select products. You can pick individual products or whole parent products, categories or shelves.
- Choose a goal: Grow to increase sales, Protect to defend key listings from competitors, or Launch for new products.
- Review the AI-generated ad groups and keywords. Remove poor matches, add your own keywords and add negative keywords for terms you never want to pay for.
- On the preview screen, check each campaign’s preset cost limit. Teikametrics pauses existing product ads automatically to prevent duplicates. Then click Launch.
Workflow 2: turn on AI bidding for existing campaigns
If you already have campaigns you want to keep:
- Open Ads Manager and select your merchant and ad type.
- Select the campaigns or ad groups you want to automate.
- In the AI Smart Campaign column, click No AI, then Edit.
- Choose a Campaign Goal, enter an ACOS Limit and click Submit. A confirmation shows the Teikametrics Bidder is on.
- Set minimum and maximum bids per ad group as guardrails. To stop automation later, set Automated Bidding to Inactive.
Workflow 3: list Amazon products on Walmart with Listing Creator
- Connect both product and advertising data for Amazon and Walmart.
- In Listing Creator, choose Amazon as the source and Walmart as the destination, then select products. Matching uses UPC, so only Amazon products not already in your Walmart catalog appear.
- Check the Walmart Product Type the AI picked for each item. You cannot change it after submitting, so fix any wrong ones now.
- Review the rewritten title, key features, description, images and attributes. Fill in any fields flagged as missing until every product shows “Ready to Submit”.
- Preview and click Submit to Walmart. Check approval or holds in Walmart Seller Center, because Listing Creator does not show them yet.
Tips to get better results
- Start with a realistic ACOS Limit. Set it close to your break-even advertising cost for each product, then raise it for visibility or lower it to cut spend.
- Keep automatic keyword targeting on in your first campaigns. Teikametrics strongly recommends it, and it gives the bidder more data to learn from.
- Review keyword recommendations weekly. Accept the strong ones and dismiss irrelevant terms so they stop coming back.
- Add negative keywords early. Competitor brand names or unrelated terms can eat budget before the AI has enough data to bid them down.
- Raise the maximum bid only when needed. The default $5 ceiling protects you on low-margin products; raise it for high-value keywords.
- Set merchant budgets so the pacing dashboard can warn you before you overspend for the month.
- Ask ARI Assistant Chat specific questions with date ranges and metrics, such as “Which ad groups had ACOS above 40% in the last 30 days?”, rather than vague ones.
- Start Listing Creator with a few products and confirm they are approved on Walmart before moving the rest.
Limitations and common problems
- Cost grows with spend. Above $10,000 a month the 3% fee kicks in, on top of a custom base price that is not published. Ask for a written quote and model it at your expected spend.
- Advanced channels are locked. Amazon DSP, Walmart Onsite Display and Amazon Marketing Cloud need Advanced or Enterprise.
- Setup depends on permissions. The Amazon product data connection needs specific Selling Partner API permissions and English report language. If the connection fails, check both in Seller Central first.
- “Merchants already connected” errors can appear if someone else on your team or an agency already linked the account; Teikametrics has a help article for this.
- Listing Creator gaps. It does not show Walmart approval or rejection messages, and a wrong Product Type cannot be corrected after submission.
- Third-party involvement. Refunds Recovery shares your Amazon seller data with Carbon6 and takes 25% of recoveries.
- Unpublished data details. Teikametrics’ privacy policy does not say whether your data is used to train models or where it is stored. Ask if this matters to you.
- Vendor claims. Marketing figures such as launching campaigns “3x faster” are Teikametrics’ own and are not independently verified.

Verdict
Sign up for Teikametrics if you sell on Amazon, Walmart or TikTok Shop, spend a meaningful amount on sponsored ads and want AI to take over daily bidding and campaign building. The Essentials plan is the clearest deal: a flat $149 to $179 a month with no percentage of ad spend, plus inventory forecasting and listing tools included.
Larger brands get DSP, Amazon Marketing Cloud and managed services, but should negotiate carefully because the 3% fee on spend over $10,000 grows with your budget. Skip it if you sell mainly on your own website, spend very little on ads, or prefer to manage every bid by hand.
