What is AgencyAnalytics?
AgencyAnalytics is a white-label reporting platform for marketing agencies. It connects each client’s data from more than 85 marketing platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Shopify, HubSpot, Mailchimp and WhatConverts, and turns it into live dashboards and scheduled client reports. Clients log in to a portal branded with your agency’s logo, colours and domain, and an AI layer called AgencyAI writes summaries and answers questions about the data.
The company is based in Toronto, Canada, and was founded in 2010 by Joe Kindness (CEO) and Blake Acheson (CTO). It describes itself as bootstrapped and 100% employee-owned, and says more than 7,000 agencies use the platform. The legal entity named in its privacy policy is My SEO Tool Inc.
The problem it solves is reporting time. At most agencies, someone spends the first days of every month exporting numbers from Google Analytics, ad platforms and SEO tools, pasting them into slides and writing commentary. AgencyAnalytics pulls the data automatically, keeps dashboards live, sends reports on a schedule and drafts the commentary for you to edit.
Who it is for
- Digital marketing agencies that report monthly to clients on SEO, paid search, paid social and web analytics.
- SEO and PPC specialists who need rankings, Search Console, Google Ads and backlink data side by side.
- Freelancers and small agencies who want a professional, branded client portal without building one.
- Agencies that track leads, combining call and form data from tools such as WhatConverts with ad and analytics data in one report.
AgencyAnalytics is a weaker fit for in-house marketing teams reporting on a single brand: the white-label portal and per-client model are built for agencies, and a free tool such as Looker Studio may be enough. Agencies with dozens of very small clients should also do the maths, because the cost scales with every client you add. And it is a reporting tool, not a publishing tool; to plan and schedule social posts you still need something like SocialBee.
Key features
- Automated reports and live dashboards. Build reports and dashboards from templates or from scratch, schedule them to send automatically, and keep version history and approvals before they go out.
- 85+ integrations. Marketing platforms across SEO, PPC, social, email, ecommerce and call tracking, plus a Google Sheets integration for anything else and API access.
- White-label client portal. Your logo, colours, custom domain and custom email, with unlimited client users so every stakeholder can log in.
- AgencyAI. The AI layer, labelled “New” on the site. Ask AI lets you chat with a client’s data about trends, wins, issues and next steps, cites the report or dashboard each figure came from and saves conversations per client. AI Summary is a widget that writes an editable overview of a report or dashboard section in the client’s preferred language, and can be added to scheduled reports before they send. Client Knowledge gives the AI per-client context.
- Goals, alerts and insights. Goals, alerts, benchmarks and trend forecasting, plus Metric Insights and Anomaly Detection, a toggle in custom dashboards that flags unusual positive and negative changes.
- MCP Server (beta). Connects Claude, ChatGPT (developer mode) and other MCP clients over OAuth so you can query client data from your AI assistant. It inherits existing user permissions and each query covers one client.
- AI Tracker (add-on, beta). Monitors how a client appears in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini: visibility, sentiment, position, share of voice and citations.
- Rank Tracker (add-on). Desktop, mobile, local and international keyword rankings.
Pricing
AgencyAnalytics prices by client. A client is one client account in the platform, with any number of integrations, reports and dashboards. There is one self-serve plan, Core, and everything else in the main feature list is included. Prices below are in US dollars at the time of writing; the site also bills in CAD, AUD, NZD, GBP and EUR and notes that plans and prices may vary by region.
| Plan or add-on | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Core (annual billing) | $20 per client per month | Unlimited staff and client users, data sources, reports and dashboards; white-label portal with custom domain and email; 85+ integrations, Google Sheets and API access; scheduling, approvals and version history; goals, alerts, benchmarks and forecasting; AgencyAI and MCP access; standard support and a free onboarding call |
| Core (monthly billing) | From $25 per client per month | Same as above, no contract |
| Volume (25+ clients) | Discounted, contact sales | Adds dedicated onboarding, database connectors and priority support |
| AI Tracker add-on (beta) | $250 per year per 250 credits (about $20.83/month, annual billing) | AI search visibility tracking |
| Rank Tracker add-on | $500 per year per 500 keywords (about $41.67/month, annual billing) | Keyword rank tracking |
As a worked example, an agency with 10 clients on annual billing pays $200 a month, or $2,400 a year, before add-ons. The pricing page states that annual billing saves 20%. The monthly figure of $25 comes from the vendor’s own listing (“starting at $25 per month”); confirm it at checkout, as is the case for monthly add-on prices, which are not shown on the pricing page.
The 14-day trial needs no credit card. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time, annual plans are a one-year commitment, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. The pricing FAQ still refers to older “Agency” and “Agency Pro” plan names, but only Core is sold at the time of writing.
How to use AgencyAnalytics: step-by-step
1. Start the trial and brand your portal
- Go to agencyanalytics.com and start the 14-day free trial. No card is needed.
- Add your agency logo and brand colours, and set up a custom domain and custom email if you want the portal and report emails to look fully like your own.
- Book the free onboarding call included with Core if you want help mapping your current reports.
2. Add a client and connect integrations
- Create your first client account. Start with one real client so the trial reflects your actual reporting.
- Connect that client’s data sources: typically Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Ads, plus the social, SEO, email or ecommerce tools you report on.
- For data without a native integration, use the Google Sheets integration.
- Invite the client as a user if they should see live dashboards. Client users are unlimited, so add every stakeholder who needs access.
3. Build a dashboard and a scheduled report
- Start from a dashboard or report template close to what you send today, then remove anything the client does not care about.
- Add goals for the metrics in the retainer, such as leads or organic sessions, and set alerts for sudden drops.
- In a custom dashboard, turn on Anomaly Detection so unusual changes are flagged.
- Set the report schedule (for example, the second working day of each month) and use the approval step so a team member checks each report before it goes out.
4. Add AI commentary
- Drag an AI Summary widget into the report or dashboard section you want explained, and choose the client’s preferred language.
- Read and edit the summary. It is a draft: check that it reflects what actually happened and add the context only you know, such as a site migration or a paused campaign.
- Add the AI Summary at the pre-send step of scheduled reports so commentary is ready each month.
- Use Ask AI to explore questions such as “What drove the drop in conversions last month?” Each answer cites the report or dashboard the figure came from, so verify it there before quoting it to a client.
- Fill in Client Knowledge with each client’s goals and context so AI answers are more relevant.
5. Connect your AI assistant through MCP (optional)
- Follow the vendor’s MCP Server instructions to add AgencyAnalytics as a connector in Claude, or in ChatGPT with developer mode enabled.
- Sign in with OAuth. The connector uses your existing permissions, so it sees only clients you can see.
- Ask about one client at a time; the beta does not support multi-client questions.
Tips to get better results
- Report on what the client is paying for. A short report tied to retainer goals beats a dashboard of every available metric.
- Always edit AI summaries. Use them to save writing time, not to replace your judgement; clients notice generic commentary.
- Use alerts as an early warning. A tracking break or ad account suspension caught mid-month is better than one discovered at reporting time.
- Check citations in Ask AI. Because answers cite their source report or dashboard, spot-checking a number takes seconds.
- Price clients with the tool in mind. At $20 to $25 per client per month, include reporting in your retainer pricing rather than absorbing it.
- Consolidate before you scale. Build one strong template per service line (SEO, PPC, social) and reuse it across clients.
- Buy add-ons deliberately. AI Tracker and Rank Tracker are priced per credit or keyword block; start small and expand once clients value the data.
Limitations and common problems
- Cost scales with clients. Per-client pricing is simple, but an agency with 40 small clients pays far more than one with 10 large ones. Volume pricing starts at 25 clients and is quote-only.
- Monthly pricing is not shown in a table. The pricing page displays annual figures; the monthly $25 figure appears in the vendor’s page metadata. Confirm in checkout.
- Add-ons cost extra. AI search tracking and rank tracking are not in Core, and the AI Tracker’s credit consumption per query is not documented on the pricing page.
- AI limits and data use. Usage limits for Ask AI and AI Summary are not published. Ask AI is powered by OpenAI according to the 2024 launch announcement, and we found no published statement on whether client data is used for AI model training.
- MCP is single-client and in beta. You cannot ask an AI assistant to compare clients through the MCP Server.
- Security documentation. The vendor lists itself as GDPR-compliant and says data is processed in Canada and the USA, but no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 page was found. Agencies with strict client contracts should ask sales directly.
Alternatives
- Looker Studio - Google’s free report builder, enough for simple Google-only reports but without a branded client portal or AI summaries.
- WhatConverts - call, form and chat lead tracking that integrates with AgencyAnalytics, for agencies that report on leads rather than traffic.
- SocialBee - social media scheduling and recycling with an AI Copilot, for the publishing side that a reporting tool does not cover.
- OmniSEO - another option for monitoring brand visibility in AI search answers.

Verdict
Sign up for AgencyAnalytics if your agency sends recurring reports to several clients and pulls data from more than two or three platforms each month. The unlimited users, white-label portal and AI summaries remove most of the manual work, and the per-client price is easy to build into a retainer. Use the trial to rebuild one real client’s report end to end, including AI Summary and a schedule, and measure the time saved. Skip it if you are an in-house team reporting on one brand, or an agency with many very low-value clients, where a free tool such as Looker Studio or a volume quote should be compared first.
